My husband and I had the pleasure of attending this hands-on cooking class, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. Our class, focused on the art of making fresh pasta and Caesar Salad, was led by Chef Scott, who was not only incredibly knowledgeable but also wonderfully engaging and patient.
The atmosphere in the kitchen was warm and inviting. All the ingredients were laid out beautifully, and Chef Scott took the time to explain the role of each component, sharing tips and tricks along the way. The highlight was definitely tasting our own dishes at the end—the fresh pasta with a simple, chef-made aglio e Olio sauce was pure perfection.
What I appreciated most was the balance between instruction and hands-on practice. Chef Scott was always there to offer guidance without taking over, empowering us to learn by doing. The class was well-paced, allowing enough time for questions and individual assistance.
We left the class not only with a full stomach but also with the confidence to recreate the dishes at home. I would highly recommend this class to anyone, whether you're looking to learn a new skill, enjoy a fun night out, or simply deepen your love for food. It was a truly memorable and delicious evening!
You will leave with a deep respect for Chef Scott, the founder of 86 Hunger Now organization, which provides meals to individuals and families in the Wilmington area. David Scott is a true humanitarian.
