Cozy Italian Classics: Gnocchi in Red Italian Sauce
Handmade gnocchi tossed in a rich, red Italian sauce—and in this cozy, hands-on class, you’ll learn to make both from scratch. We’ll begin by mixing and shaping a simple potato gnocchi dough, learning the traditional techniques to roll and cut each piece with care.
While your gnocchi rest, you’ll simmer a rustic tomato sauce from scratch—layering in garlic, herbs, and just the right touch of olive oil to create that deep, comforting flavor Italian kitchens are known for.
By the end of class, you’ll have a soul-satisfying meal and the confidence to recreate it anytime you want a taste of Italy at home. Whether you’re new to pasta-making or just love a cozy cooking project, this class delivers comfort, connection, and delicious tradition in every bite.
What to expect:
- From 4pm to 6pm on weekdays and 3 to 5pm on weekends, 2 hour cooking class
- You will work with others in a group of 10.
- While we dont offer alcoholic drinks, you can bring your own wine or beer.

If you need to cancel your attendance, please email info@littleoliveco.com. Cancellations made at least one week in advance are eligible for a full refund. For cancellations after this period, refunds are not available, but your ticket can be converted into a voucher for future use. Since our classes often sell out, we will also attempt to fill your spot from our waitlist. However, same-day cancellations are not eligible for refunds or vouchers, as all class preparations are completed the day before.
To ensure classes take place, a minimum number of tickets must be purchased. If this requirement is not met, the class may be canceled or rescheduled. In such cases, you will be notified and given the choice of a full refund or the option to transfer your ticket to the new date.

The class was fun and food was good. Only issue we had was that by the time we tried to freeze them the following day they were so clumped together in the take home containers that we basically had to completely rip apart and then reshape the gnocchi. Would be better if more were cooked at the event or given in more smaller containers to bring home.

It was a lot of FUN and learned a lot and met some great people! Linda and her sous chef were SO Kind and helpful and encouraging and just loved the experience and look forward to taking another class soon!
